GoBus Accessible Transit Application (St. John's)

GoBus is the door-to-door paratransit service run by Metrobus, and every rider must register with this application. The applicant then completes a transit assessment arranged and paid for by Metrobus, and results arrive by mail.

Who completes it

Submitting and payment

How to submit it
Return the completed application to Metrobus Accessible Transit Services by mail, fax or email, and allow up to 14 days for processing. Results are sent by mail.
Who pays
Any fee for completing Section 2 is the applicant's responsibility, while Metrobus pays for the transit assessment.

  • Eligibility can be unconditional, temporary, for example after surgery, or conditional, such as winter only or in the dark, so note whether limitations vary by season or time.
  • Age, loss of a driver's licence, financial need or having no one to travel with do not on their own make someone eligible for GoBus.
