An AI scribe for any EMR or EHR. Copy, paste, or export.

Vero writes the visit note from your conversation. Copy it into your EMR or EHR with one click, or export it as a PDF or Word file. There’s no direct integration, so there’s nothing to set up. It works the same in every EMR and EHR.

How a Vero note gets into the EMRs and EHRs clinicians in Canada and the US use most, and what Vero does and doesn’t do in each.

Canada

United States

Don’t see yours? Vero works the same way with any EMR or EHR you can paste text into or attach a file to, MEDITECH included.

Copy with formatting, or without.

Copy with formatting keeps the note’s headings and lists. If your EMR or EHR drops them or adds odd spacing, choose Copy without formatting for clean plain text. Vero remembers your choice.

  • One click, or ⌘C or Ctrl+C
  • Rich text (RTF) from the desktop app
  • A Copy button on your phone

Or export it as a document.

Export the note as a PDF or Word file, email it, or print it. If you keep documents in the patient’s chart, attach the file there.

  • Export as PDF or Word
  • Send by email
  • Print

Why copy and paste, not an integration.

Vero doesn’t connect to any EMR or EHR. That costs you one paste per note, and buys you this.

Any EMR or EHR, the same way

Paste into any EMR or EHR that takes text, or attach a PDF or Word file. The same steps everywhere.

Nothing to set up

No integration to request, nothing to install in your EMR or EHR, and no IT project.

It comes with you

Change systems, or work in clinics on different ones, and Vero works the same.

The trade-off: Vero can’t read your charts or put a note in for you. Every note goes in when you paste it or attach it.

Patient privacy, built in from the start.

Every visit is protected health information, and Vero handles it that way from the first word to the final note.

Vero and your EMR or EHR, answered.

Which EMRs and EHRs does Vero work with?

Any EMR or EHR you can paste text into, or attach a PDF or Word file to. Vero writes the note; you copy it in with one click or export it. The guides on this page cover the EMRs and EHRs clinicians in Canada and the US use most.

Does Vero integrate directly with EMRs or EHRs?

No. Vero doesn’t connect to any EMR or EHR, so it can’t read your charts or write into them on its own. Notes go in by copy and paste or by export, which works the same in every system and needs no setup.

What’s the difference between copy and paste and an integration?

An integration sends the note into the chart for you, but only for the systems a vendor has built it for, and often with setup on the system’s side. Copy and paste takes one more step from you, and works in any EMR or EHR from the first visit. If you change systems, Vero comes with you.

What if my EMR or EHR loses the formatting?

Choose Copy without formatting from Copy’s menu for clean plain text. Vero remembers your choice. The Vero desktop app also puts rich text (RTF) on the clipboard, which some systems need to keep headings and lists.

Can I export a note instead of pasting it?

Yes. Open Export on the note and choose Export as PDF or Export as Word, send it by email, or print it.

Is Vero HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant?

Yes. Vero is HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant and SOC 2 Type II certified. Canadian patient data is stored in Canada, live recordings are never stored, and your patients’ data is never used to train AI models.
