Billing codes for every visit, straight from your notes

CPT and HCPCS codes, each linked to the ICD-10-CM diagnoses that support it.You review and independently verify every code before you copy or bill.

Billing that starts with your note.

Codes from the note you wrote

Vero reads the finished note and pulls out the diagnoses it documents and the billing codes they support. Every code shows the passages behind it, quoted word for word.

Keeps up with the note

Edit the note and refresh, and Vero reads it again and updates the codes to match. Need another code? Find it by description or number.

Close out the day

See every encounter’s billing and diagnosis codes on one sheet. One Sync codes each visit that doesn’t have codes yet, and leaves the rest as they are.

Frequently asked questions.

What is Vero Billing?

Vero Billing prepares diagnosis and billing codes from your finished clinical notes, with supporting note passages and linked diagnoses. A clinician or qualified coding professional must independently verify every code against the actual record and authoritative coding references before copying or using it for coding or billing.

Does Vero submit claims or send codes to my EHR?

No. Vero prepares the codes and organizes the day; it doesn’t submit claims or send codes to an EHR or billing system. After reviewing, independently verifying, and correcting each code as needed, copy it with its units and title to wherever you bill.

Does Vero show fees?

Where the published schedule lists one, Vero shows the fee for the edition in effect on the visit date, and totals the day. Payer and contract rates can differ.

Which code sets does Vero support?

ICD-10-CM for diagnoses, and CPT and HCPCS Level II for billing. You choose a diagnostic catalog, a billing catalog, or both, and Vero codes with only those.

Where do the codes come from?

From the note itself: the saved note text, or the filled fields of a PDF form note. Vero looks up candidates in your chosen catalogs, using your care setting, your specialty, and the patient’s age, and it doesn’t fill in details the note doesn’t contain.

Can I code a whole day at once?

Yes. The day view lists every encounter on a date, one row per billing code with its diagnoses. Sync codes each encounter that has a note but no codes yet, and leaves the ones already coded as they are.

Show all questions
Does Vero set modifiers, units, or the order of codes?

No. Units start at one, and each billing code comes linked to the diagnoses that support it. Vero doesn’t infer modifiers, time, or sequencing.

How accurate are the codes?

Vero uses the note’s words, your chosen catalogs, and the edition in effect on the visit date, and links to official sources. AI-generated codes can still be inaccurate or incomplete. A clinician or qualified coding professional must independently verify and correct each code against the actual record and authoritative coding references before use.

Is my patient data safe?

Vero is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 Type II certified. Audio is never stored, your data is never sold, and it is never used to train AI models. You can also have notes delete themselves after 1 to 365 days.

How much does Vero cost?

Start with a 7-day free trial with full access, then keep 10 free actions every month. Pro is unlimited at $69 a month billed yearly, or $89 month to month, with discounts for students, residents, and trainees.
