Frequently asked questions

Who must complete the diabetes section of West Virginia DLAB-CDL-1?

How is DLAB-CDL-1 different from DLAB-1?

Both share the Part I authorization and the Part II condition checklist, but the CDL version adds sleep disorders, requires an endocrinologist for diabetes, notes possible SPE testing for musculoskeletal disorders, and asks whether the applicant can safely operate a commercial vehicle and whether its size or type should be limited.
