Can I dictate after the patient has left?
Yes. You can dictate a visit recap, examination findings, or an assessment and plan after the encounter. You do not need to record the patient conversation to create a note from your own dictation.
How is dictation different from ambient scribing?
With dictation, you deliberately describe the clinical details you want documented. Ambient scribing starts with the conversation during the encounter. Vero supports both approaches; each produces a draft for your review.
Will my dictation become a transcript or a structured note?
Vero transcribes your spoken input and uses that context to generate a structured note in a SOAP, H&P, or custom template. The transcript captures your words; the generated note organizes the details under your selected headings.
How do I correct a dictated note?
Open the draft in Vero, adjust the wording, and update sections to match your dictation. You can edit the note before copying or sharing it.
Can I use recorded audio or add typed context?
Yes. Vero accepts live recording, uploaded audio, and typed context. Combine input methods within an encounter, then generate a draft in your selected template.
